Cecily Coats

Cecily was born in down home New Orleans, Louisiana and is proud to be called a "Southern Belle".  She was schooled in Metairie until moving to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University. (Geaux Tigers!!!) After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a minor in Art History, Cecily moved to England, where she worked as an Office Administrator in a growing London-based computer company. After her six month work visa expired, she moved to New York, but boiled crab and crawfish withdrawals forced her to return to New Orleans in 1996. Five years of sales work in the French Quarter gave her a new perspective on life, and a desire for a change. In September of 2001, Cecily became the first "Nerdette" and is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the Metairie location.

Cecily has this to say about Rent-A-Nerd: "It's so strange, my boss now, we used to work together at Swiss Colony back in High School, but that's what's great about this company, we're all friends… one big happy family."
