The second son of a sailor and born in San Diego California, James landed in New Orleans in 1988. James graduated from John Ehret High in Marrero Louisiana. After graduation he married his high school sweetheart and began a family. While attending UNO, James’ father-in-law said “you’re a big nerd, why not go work for Rent-A-Nerd?”. An especially nerdy applicant, James was hired by cell phone on his way home. When a partner left the company, James joined on for the long term.

Like Darrin, James eventually figured out that UNO stunk so he began attending Tulane, where he eventually earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems, with a minor in Applied Business. Failing to learn his lesson, James attended UNO again in pursuit of a his Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Quickly realizing his mistake, James now attends the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.

James’ many responsibilities included consultations, contract support, network disaster recovery, server configurations, human resources, and killing bugs in the office.
